Be part of the best
Peruvian Universities is Peru's best debate team. Since 2004, this student led organization has been able to represent our country at various debate conferences world wide, quickly becoming the most awarded Peruvian team in Harvard conferences while shaping the leaders of generations to come.
Our former alumni excell not only as delegates, representing PU and Peru wherever they go; they also serve as agents of change in today’s society. From political appointees and UN ambassadors, to successful entrepreneurs and innovative leaders; we are proud to be part of a huge network who gathers only the best.
Compromised with change and development, our organization focuses on the development and sharpening of soft skills on its members while participating in the most prestigious debate conferences worldwide. Our team is currently ranked as one of the best ModelUN teams in the world after years of successful participations around the region and the globe.
What is MUN?
Model United Nations or MUN is a form of debate, in which its participants emulate the decision making process held within the United Nations and its bodies. The sole purpose of MUN is to offer, through innovation, research and skill, solutions to modern day problems the UN currently faces. These simulations gather individuals regardless of their academical or social backgrounds to represent any given country within a committee of the United Nations debating a specific topic.
These “delegates” develop skills such as public speaking, persuasion, analysis, research, critical thinking, teamwork, negotiation tactics, leadership and diplomacy while debating pressing issues. MUN aims to promote dialogue and an unforgettable, academically-rich space to learn and grow as a student and as a person while learning about our world´s realities.
